Support

You write to the person who wrote it.

There is no ticket queue and no first line. Questions come to Aleš, which is slower than a call centre and considerably more useful.

Response time

Within two working days. Usually the same day. If something is stopping you working on a live deadline, say so in the subject line and it jumps the queue.

What to include

Four things turn a two-day exchange into one reply:

  1. What you did, in enough detail that it can be repeated
  2. SketchUp version, and Windows or macOS
  3. Archeform versionPlugins → Archeform → About Archeform
  4. Ruby Console output, if there is any. Window → Ruby Console, then repeat what went wrong and copy whatever appears.

A model that reproduces the problem is worth more than any description. If you cannot share the project, a stripped-down file with only the offending elements is fine.

Feature requests

Welcome, and they genuinely shape what gets built — the roadmap is mostly things people asked for. Tell us what you are trying to produce rather than which button you want; often there is already a way, and when there is not, the underlying problem is more useful than a proposed solution.

Licence and billing

Same address. Moving to a new machine, a lost licence key, an invoice that needs a correction — none of it needs a form.

If a computer died and you cannot release it yourself, write and it gets released from our side. Nobody is asked to buy a second licence because a laptop failed.
