Drawings that look drawn.

Plans per storey, named sections, hatching by material at your drawing scale, schedules, and a LayOut file at the end of it. This is where the SketchUp ecosystem stops.

Screenshot needed

A generated plan of a full floor beside a vertical section of the same building, both hatched. This pair is the argument for the whole product.

One scene per storey

Each floor gets its own scene with a cut plane, a framed parallel camera and documentation tag visibility. The 3D of anything with a proper symbol is switched off and the symbol takes its place — doors, windows, stairs, ramps, railings, services, furniture.

Roofs above and footings below appear as overheads, dash-double-dot and dashed respectively, in the storey that should show them.

Sections in three clicks

Click the line, click the end, then click the side you are looking at. You get a scene, filled cuts, and a section mark with arrows and a letter in every plan that crosses it.

Hatching that survives printing

38 patterns generated at your drawing scale, so the spacing on paper stays constant whether you plot at 1:50 or 1:200. A composition is hatched layer by layer, and where a partition meets a wall, the layers stop according to their priority instead of running through.

Colour is a third axis: new, existing and demolished, derived from the IFC status property if you want it. Demolition comes out as ochre lines on a yellow ground, because ochre alone is unreadable once printed.

A 15 mm plaster layer would be a black smear at the masonry spacing, so thin layers fall back to a finer pattern and then to solid colour.

And out to LayOut

One button generates the scenes and writes a .layout file: one page per drawing, at a fixed scale, on the sheet size you chose. Annotation happens there, where fonts and line weights exist — SketchUp cannot style text through its API at all.
